Despite giving Coolio a piece of her mind the glamour model is on the cusp of returning to the real world, says Dan Fitch.

Who'd have thought it? A glamour model expresses herself in a way that encapsulates the mood of the nation. I'm talking of course about Lucy Pinder, who last night reached boiling point with Coolio and told him: "You're the most irritating person I've ever met."

Coolio went into meltdown last night and so did his price, which rose to [50.0]. It was all because of a task, based on the subject of celebrity culture.

Lucy, Tina and Coolio were given a paparazzi task, in which they had to photograph celebrities who popped up over the wall of the house. They had to have two people on shift at a time, for a 24-hour period.

The two people on shift had to sit in a roped-off area of the house. Lucy and Tina quickly found themselves in an impossible situation. Coolio was either wandering around, leaving them to do all the work, or even worse, one of them was stuck with him in a 5ft square area, that they weren't allowed to leave.

In all the confusion, they completely missed the fact that Michael Barrymore was poking his head over the top of the wall and failed the task. At least Barrymore at this stage of his career must be used to being ignored.

Eventually Lucy could take no more and told Coolio what she thought of him. You would have thought that standing up to such a dominating personality would have helped her chances of surviving the eviction, but Lucy's price to win rose to [150.0]. She is now [1.44] to be evicted, with Ulrika at [2.66].

Elsewhere, Terry and Mutya were involved in a celebrity cult task and were forced to worship Chesney Hawkes. They were also given a quiz based on Chesney trivia, from which I learnt that he had written songs for A1. Which explains a lot. Terry is now [6.8], with Mutya at [19.0].

Tommy and LaToya had to practice an ice-skating routine, as part of their celebrity reality show task. The show had started with Jacko being chatted up by Coolio, who having failed to pull Mutya, Lucy and Ulrika, has now moved on to plan D. LaToya is now [11.5], with Tommy at [70.0].

Big Brother got all mischievous and put Michelle [30.0] and Ben [6.0] together in a task where they had to pose as a celebrity couple. Michelle proved that she wouldn't be providing the brains in the relationship, when she asked Coolio if Compton was posh. Only in comparison to Newcastle, dear.

I've got a feeling that Ben might have been a bit of a mummy's boy. Last night he revealed that as a kid, he had loads of trophies for running and football. When he grew up, his mum confessed that she'd bought the trophies to build up his self-esteem. I wonder when he's going to get suspicious about all those Grammy and Brit awards on his sideboard?

In another task, Ulrika was pared with Verne to perform a celebrity cover version. Now the decision by the producers, to put the housemate they've paid the most money to and is facing eviction, together with the most popular member of the house, could have been made randomly. Or it could have been made deliberately, to save their investment. You decide.

The result was Ulrika and Verne's version of Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie's Endless Love. Verne is not much of a singer and had to be helped through the task by Ulrika, despite Endless Love clearly being a subject that she knows nothing about.

The result was a strangely moving performance. They will pass the task if the video in Youtube gets over 10,000 hits, or to put it another way, roughly double the amount of people that watched an average episode of the 2002 Ulrika vehicle 'Home On Their Own'.

Whether they pass or fail, the task may well have saved Ulrika's bacon and she is now [42.0] to win. It also made vulnerable Verne an even shorter favourite to win at [2.38].
