Just a quick update today because it is 1150, Day 2a of the World Series of Poker Main Event starts at 1200 and I am at least 20 minutes away from The Rio!

I played on Day 1c, which is the first time I've played on that day because I usually try and play 1d. I got off to a good start and was up to 70,000, then I cam back from the dinner break and for no apparent reason I just imploded! I played really badly for about an hour, I don't know why I did that but I did and I found myself really short with just 18,000. Thankfully some really kind amateur players decided to give me some chips so I finished the day on 45,000 and I am definitely going to play a lot better today, no mistakes!

The table draw was released last night and I've had a look and it looks to be quite a good table. Everyone has roughly the same amount of chips, which is quite good, and there is only one other experienced or professional player on the table (Ozzy "Ozzy87" Sheikh - Ed) but he is in Seat 9 and I am in Seat 4 so hopefully we shouldn't get in each other's way too much and we can just chop up the other players! I'm really really excited about today and I predict that I am going to finish the day with 125,000.

I was delighted an amazed to find out that I am going to be joined on Day 2a by six fellow Betfair Poker players and Day 2b will see nine of them at the tables, so good luck to those 15 players in particular.
