It's a case of taking your pick of the hold-up horses in this handicap hurdle, the pace likely to be overly strong with Bring On The Judge, Crannaghmore Boy and Nobby Kivambo all having an 'M' by their name on the Timeform In-Play card. In truth, however, not many of those likely to be ridden patiently have much recent form to their name, Monsieur Cadou, whose poor run at Huntingdon last time was symptomatic of his yard's general slump, being a good example, so Ballyegan is the selection. He tends to track the pace as opposed to sitting well off it, and is well treated on the pick of his recent efforts over fences.
