There's loads of well handicapped, in-form horses taking each other on in this mile handicap, none more so than the progressive Chilli Green who had loads to spare when winning at this track last time. However, she's been drawn into a pace battle once before and given the presence of Den's Gift, Pegasus Again and Samarinda (all have an 'M' on the Timeform In-Play Card), she might just scupper her chance again, so the out-and-out hold up performers are the ones to be with here. Highly Regal, Lockantanks and Hereford Boy are all usually ridden patiently and with the last-named being the biggest price of the three and having a good record at Kempton, he's the selection.
