Celtic Ransom made a fairly uninspiring return from a break at Wolerhampton recently but, with his overall profile being such a consistent one, he's probably worth the benefit of the doubt and can be expected to bounce back. He's the only one in the 15:20 at Lingfield with an 'M' on his In-Play ledger, so has the obvious prospect of a very soft lead today. His first three outings last year represent his three best efforts, runner-up on all three occasions having made the running and traded at less than half his SP at some point during the race. Ocean Countess left the strong impression that she's ready to strike last time, but she tends to take a while to get going, so even if Celtic Ransom can't beat that one, he'll almost certainly be able to steal a couple of lengths on her (and maybe the rest of the field) turning in.
