The last time we saw Serious Drinking, at Lingfield, the race could hardly have panned out any worse for a hold-up horse and she did very well to grab third late on while having no chance with the more prominently-ridden pair that filled the first two places. Tonight it's going to be a different story for her, however, as both April Fool, who blasted out to win at Wolverhampton last week, and Kassiador both have an 'M' on their Timeform In-Play ledger while the likes of Double Carpet, Justcallmehandsome, Little Luxury and Petomic have all been known to race close to the pace. Serious Drinking is going to find it a lot easier to reel in the leaders tonight and her strong-finishing style means she'll probably trade a little bigger in the run than the appealing [5.4] that's on offer now.
