"Classic Henri...is up a further 5 lb today, but given his lightly-raced profile further improvement isn’t out of the question and he looks the one to be with at [6.2]. "

Three for Sunday from the Timeform Free Form Site...

The form First In The Queue was in the process of showing when brought down at the last on his hurdling debut at Taunton last month makes him the clear pick in the 14:10 at Huntingdon and with more luck today he should prove hard to beat. The race at Taunton was run in a time that reflects well on the principals (the winner Brampour and the eventual runner-up Clowance House were both useful Flat horses) and given that First In The Queue looked booked for third at worst when he came to grief, there's reason to believe he has the makings of a useful hurdler. He should arguably be a shorter price today based on the form he would have showed on that occasion, and looks worth a bet at [2.56].

Odds-on shots in handicaps may not be the most appealing of betting propositions, but it's really very difficult to see what is going to beat Qalinas in the 16:10 at Huntingdon. He was very well backed for his handicap debut at Sandown just over a week ago and showed just why as he tanked through the race and looked to have it sewn up only to get nailed late up the hill as the borderline-heavy ground took its toll. In the event, he shaped like much the best horse in the race and is clearly still ahead of his mark (up 3 lb to 117). Indeed, the likelihood is that he's David Pipe's Fred Winter horse (well backed for that race) and a 5 lb penalty for a win today will increase his chances of making the cut there. There will be considerably less emphasis on stamina today and he should take an awful lot of stopping, so much so that he looks worth an interest even at odds on.

Sea Cliff, Classic Henri and Sam Patch were three of four who pulled a long way clear of the remainder in a two-and-a-half-mile handicap hurdle at Sedgefield back in January and they meet again over the same course and distance at 16:50. Classic Henri came from further back than the other two in a race that somewhat favoured those ridden forward and he looks the most interesting of them today. Classic Henri has run at Ayr since and continued his profile of steady progress to finish second again, denied only by a potential handicap blot. He is up a further 5 lb today, but given his lightly-raced profile further improvement isn't out of the question and he looks the one to be with at [6.2].
