An excellent weekend of sport continues and the racing at Exeter and Hereford today isn't too bad either. Here are three that can do the business.

Definity (15.10) is just the type of horse Paul Nicholls excels with and the eight-year-old should make light work of his rivals in the three-mile chase at Exeter. Definity's fourth over course and distance on his chasing debut in December reads much better now than it did at the time, with the three in front of him, Wymott, Shalimar Fromentro, and Adams Island all going onto better things, and he became the fourth winner to come from out of that race when accounting for Straw Bear at Fontwell. A good jumper who stays well, Definity has a bright future.

Another who brings strong form to the table at Exeter is bumper runner Ballabrace(17.10) who can land the finale. He was notably strong in the betting when only third on his debut at Plumpton in November, but had Global Power and Divine Folly in front of him, both winners next time out, and shaped well despite failing to justify the strength behind him in the betting. Likely to have learnt plenty from that Ballabrace should go on to better things for Venetia Williams.

Venetia also trains our third selection in Fleur de Vassy (14.30) at Hereford. The mare has burnt a few fingers starting out over fences this season but undoubtedly remains one to be positive about, shaping well on all three of her runs. The drop back to two and three-quarter miles will suit her today and there's plenty of untapped potential lurking.

Recommendations

Back Fleur de Vassy @ [3.5] Hereford 14.30
Back Definity @ [2.32] Exeter 15.10
Back Ballabrace @ [5.0] Exeter 17.10
