Following yesterday's placepot success on Kempton's National Hunt course, we can hopefully continue in the same vein back over on the all-weather track this evening...

17:50 - Grey Boy has really hit form lately, but the step up in trip could leave him vulnerable in the opener, so it's worth siding with Abigails Angel, who is as dependable as they come in this grade, and Iguacu, who is on a good mark and will be staying on late again.

18:20 - Plenty of these are out of form and hard to make a case for, so Duneen Dream needs only to replicate the form of his last couple of outings to make the three. It's never wise to bank on one at this level, though, and we also include the unexposed Hecton Lad as back up.

18:50 - Tropical Beat showed plenty of ability amidst greenness on his debut for Hughie Morrison towards the end of last year and it's no surprise to see him short in the betting. He's not bomb-proof from a placepot perspective, though, and it's wise to also include the other likely improver Peachez.

19:20 - Best Trip is a real danger when getting his own way in front and if he can get across from his wide draw without too much trouble then he'll be hard to peg back. If he ends up having to do too much in front, however, then it may well play into the hands of Desert Strike, who has shaped as if still in form when runner-up in claimers the last two starts.

19:50 - The penultimate leg isn't going to take much winning, with the three last-time-out winners, Jonny Ebeneezer, Chantilly Jewel and Mata Hari Blue, making easily the most appeal, and the last-named looks banker material given she performed with credit from higher marks at the end of last year.

20:20 - Sir Boss has been a revelation this year, winning over course and distance on his last three starts, and he should continue to give a good account, but there's only two places up for grabs in the finale and the one that makes slightly more appeal is Marco Botti's Sweet Origin. He's having just the fourth start of his career tonight and has improved on each occasion, so he'll be tough to beat and nigh-on impossible to keep out the first two.
