We start with the day's negative which comes in the 14.30 at Leicester, a 2 mile handicap chase, in the shape of The Darling Boy who has drifted this morning from [3.15] out to [4.1]. Whilst it is true to say that this five runner event is anything but competitive, the Tom George stable has not been firing on all cylinders this season. This is reflected by the fact that the stable has achieved just two winners from 64 runners in 2011 and despite The Darling Boy's promising run last time, it is not a surprise to see backers looking elsewhere in this race.
