In the 13:50 Handicap Chase over 2m 2f, Ilewin Tom has drifted out to 3.30 from 2.16. The 8 year old gelding won last time out at Folkestone by an impressive 18 lengths. While that win was undoubtedly impressive his race form is inconsistent, with only two wins from 17 races. The distance 2m 2f, is a drop back in distance, and he hasn't hitherto ran well at that distance, finishing 15th from 17 at Hereford and 11th from 12 at Worcester. Also, the forecasted good to soft ground does not appear to suit as he has won only on good to firm and good ground.
