Our final recommendation is the day's negative in the shape of Song Of Songs in the 17.00 at Folkestone who has drifted from 2.82 out to 3.75. In his former life as a 144 rated chaser Song Of Songs would have made mincemeat of most of these but the big question, on his Hunter Chase debut and first run for Jonjo O'Neill, has to be whether he will get this trip of over 3 miles in testing going given that he has only ever won over 2 miles. This and the fact that, at times, the gelding's jumping can be less than convincing has meant that backers do not believe that Song Of Song's class will be enough to land the spoils today.
