The XY Factor heads to Lingfield on Sunday for the final race at 4.50.....

Date: Sunday 1 February

Selected Race: Lingfield 4.50

Suggested Bets (with current Betfair win odds):
2 point win and 2 point place QUITE A FELLA [7.4]

Staking Plan Records (on £1 per point basis):
Yesterday: -3.00
This week: -19.00
All time: +76.12

Verdict:
QUITE A FELLA
returns to the scene of his maiden win in January and over the same trip can run another big race. He showed signs of greenness on his debut and further improvement looks certain.

Quite A Fella is definately lightly raced and overcame a tardy slow start to storm home. I don't think the handicapper was unduly harsh either. The problem for me, is needing a bit of luck in running against more experienced horses. Positive is Catlin aboard doing the steering.

I've taken it on though first time up in a handicap with the top weight Bassinet at big odds.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for the feedback - and Sandracer cracking shout with Bassinet - well done.

As you know by now Quite A Fella pulled up lame which is something you can never account for. Hope the horse is OK.

Hopefully a new week will see some better results this week.

    That is correct XY.

On he BHA Website it says, "Chris Catlin, the rider of QUITE A FELLA (USA), reported that the gelding was lame".
