VERDICT:
For the second day running we hit the frame - yesterday with Inquisitress who finished third and a Betfair Place SP of 2.99. Hopefully we can repeat the dose with GOWER in the finale at Southwell today. He failed to show much over course and distance two starts ago but then shaped much better at Wolverhampton last time out. He might be worth one more chance on the Southwell surface and it would be unwise to dismiss him on the basis of one poor run.
