VERDICT:
Although a short price, we went in quite heavy on Am I Blue yesterday so were delighted to see him record his second runaway success in the space of a week at a Betfair SP of evens. It's hard to see AVERTIS not finishing in the first three in the finale at Goodwood and at current odds we get a bet to nothing - in that a place dividend will cover the win part of the bet and remember it's still three places on Betfair despite only seven now going to post. He sprang a 28/1 surprise when winning at Epsom last time out - the front two finished nicely clear - and the 54 day break shouldn't be considered a negative in his case.
