VERDICT:
We had a great run for our money with yesterday's selection Catherines Call who was only beaten a neck at Wolverhampton at a Betfair SP of 13.36. The place part of the bet ensured a profit but it was agonising to go so close at such a good price. On Sunday we take on Sunnyside Tom with some trepidation. Richard Fahy's runner is notching up claiming wins for fun at the moment and no doubt the usual front running tactics will be employed again in this valuable claimer. He may meet his match today in the shape of JO'BURG whose form really stands out a mile in the context of this race. A close up sixth in the Sunderlands Handicap at Sandown last time out really should be more than enough to win this.
