VERDICT:
Sermons Mount frustratingly traded at the basement price of 1.01 before being collared close hom at Kempton. At least with the place part of the bet we ended with a small profit on the day. GRIPSHOLM CASTLE looks the bet of the day in the 5.15 at Haydock. Current Betfair odds of [4.1] look far more generous than we were expecting and Gripsholm Castle, who was impressive when winning on debut at Newmarket and then went on to finish fourth in listed company at Newcastle - should find this contest much easier on her handicap debut.
