"Of the first £10k traded on the market for the 13:40 at Hexham, 40% is on fifth favourite Mighty Magnus in a seven runner race, which shows the interest in him."

Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Hexham and Ffos Las.

We start at Hexham and in the 13:40 2m4f Conditional Jockeys Handicap Chase there has been a decent move for Martin Todhunter's Mighty Magnus. After an early high of [13.5] we now see the horse trading at [6.8]. Of the first £10k traded on the market 40% is on this fifth favourite in a seven runner race, which shows the interest in him. He's been off track for 160 days and assuming he finds the form he showed at Newcastle in January, with a first time tongue tie assisting today, this move suggests he has a chance.

We stay at Hexham for our second bet, our lay, where Cloudy Dawn has been drifting in the 15:40 3m1f Handicap Chase. Favourite in the tissue, Sue Smith's gelding is now trading at [5.1] from [3.35]. He won over this course and distance last month and has to be respected, however that was on good ground and he's been raised 9lb for that win. Behind him that day was Stormion who, with the ground now in his favour, looks set to reverse the form.

Finally we move to Ffos Las where Transfer has been backed in from [17.0] to [8.8] in the 16:00 1m4f Apprentice Handicap. He's had a decent season although was below par last time out. If he can shake that off, and recapture the form he showed when winning twice in June, including one over this distance, he should be in the mix. With over a third of the market on this outsider there are a few out there who must think that's the case.
