Most of the Open de Andalucia market principals have spent the last few weeks labouring in the US making this tournament one for the outsiders. Paul Krishnamurty picks three to take at triple-figure odds

With the market dominated by a bunch of rare winners, who have spent the last few weeks toiling above their usual grade in the USA, the Open de Andalucia looks fertile territory in our search for big-priced winners. Moreover, previous results at the venue offer a pointer towards the type of candidate upon which to focus.

The last time this event was held at Aloha in 2008, it was very nearly won by a well-touted young prospect. With the tournament at his mercy, Oliver Fisher fell apart on the closing hole and eventually lost a play-off to the vastly more experienced Thomas Levet. Nevertheless, that proved this is a course where inexperience isn't a serious handicap, allowing the most talented youngsters to thrive. That could be good news for my trio of selections, all of whom have a big future in the game.

Whether or not it's this week, Victor Dubuisson, Tommy Fleetwood and Bernd Wiesberger will all make their mark and at least trade at a short price somewhere this season. To a certain extent, they already have. The first-named Frenchman caught many an eye during his rookie season, registering seven top-25s from 20 starts, including three top-tens. Usually to be found near the top of the pivotal greens in regulation stats, Dubuisson finished ninth on his penultimate start in Qatar, against a much stronger field than this.

Likewise talented Austrian prospect Wiesberger made a big impression during his rookie season in 2011, finishing in the top-five on four occasions, twice as runner-up. All of those good performances came in the second half of the season, and with a couple of top-25s already this year, he looks to be on the up and certainly worth persevering with whilst available at huge odds.

Fleetwood carries the biggest reputation of the three, after needing only a few Challenge Tour starts to earn his card for the main tour, and making an immediate impression once there with top-tens in Austria and then the elite Dunhill Links. Tommy went off the boil after that lightning start, but that is entirely excusable given that he's been playing on different continents, experiencing new conditions. Just turned 21, he is an outstanding prospect, tipped in some quarters to emulate the British stars currently dominating world golf.
