Croatia are the fifth favourites on Betfair at [9.4] to go all the way at Euro 2008 after winning their third match in a row at the European Championships.
Slaven Bilic rang the changes against Poland but they were still worthy winners by a 1-0 scoreline. The Croatia win was matched at a high of [3.3] and that particular scoreline was backed at [11.5]. The half-time draw with Croatia winning at full-time was matched at 8.2.
Meanwhile at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, Germany scraped a 1 -0 win after drifting to [1.83] from a starting price of around [1.4] on the match odds market. Michael Ballack's solitary goal meant that that those who backed 1-0 at [8.4] were rewarded.
Croatia to win Group B with Germany finishing second was available at [5.8] on Betfair before the start of the competition and it is Croatia who are carrying all the momentum into the quarter-finals. Having gone off as the pre-tournament favourites and being backed at a low of [4.5] after a convincing display in their first match, Germany are now the [7.0] fourth-favourites to succeed Greece as European champions.
