Pune Warriors were last season's IPL whipping boys, but they've begun this campaign with the biggest upset of the tournament so far. Kings XI were on the receiving end of an Ajinkya Rahane whirlwind in Jaipur on Friday and once Adam Gilchrist went for 27 they didn't look like getting close to their target. Paul Valthaty didn't play with the exuberance that catapulted him to fame in last year's edition.

Venue and pitch conditions
This will be the first match played at Pune's new home and an elaborate opening ceremony will precede the match at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium. The weather is set fare and there shouldn't be any rain delays.

Match Odds
Punters are giving Pune Warriors a lot more respect following their win over Mumbai, but perhaps a little too much, too soon. At odds of [2.0] the pair, Kings XI look to be the ones to side with.

Top Pune Batsman
Wayne Parnell came in at number three for the Pune Warriors against Mumbai, to the surprise of many. But his ability to clear the ropes means that it may become an increasingly familiar ploy from Pune throughout this competition. At odds of [10.0] he has to be worth a punt on the basis that he could again come in at three.

Top Punjab Batsman
Adam Gilchrist showed that he still has the big shots in his locker in the opening match against Rajasthan. With Shaun Marsh and Valthaty looking drastically out of form the captain looks the best bet at odds of [4.5].
