"[3.50] is not the right price for a talented bunch of individuals to win a Twenty20 match, whatever the circumstances"

Deccan Chargers might lack motivation and form, but they are not short on value, says Tobias Gourlay

Mumbai Indians

Mumbai have won 8/11 matches so far this season and are smarting from a defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore last time out. Their formidable batting unit will appreciate a good surface at the Wankhede Stadium, but quick bowlers like Munaf Patel and Lasith Malinga might find something to like too.

Deccan Chargers

Kumar Sangakkara's Deccan Chargers stand no chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of this year's tournament, having won only 3/11 matches to this point.

Match Odds

Deccan's motivation is debatable, their team selection is questionable and their record this season is abysmal. But [3.50] is not the right price for a talented bunch of individuals to win a Twenty20 match, whatever the circumstances.

Don't necessarily expect them to cause an upset, but at least believe they can threaten Mumbai at some stage. Back to lay.

Top Mumbai Batsman

We first took note of Ambati Rayudu a while ago. He only joined Mumbai at the start of last season, but only two men - Sachin Tendulkar and the retired Sanath Jayasuriya - have scored more career runs for the Indians.

This season, he has closed to within nine runs of Tendulkar at the top of this season's batting chart and has made four scores of 50 or more in 11 innings to the Little Master's three.

Best Bet: Back-to-lay Deccan Chargers @ [3.50] to beat Mumbai Indians
