Doug should enjoy bowling in Mumbai
"Mumbai are vulnerable, as they showed against Kochi, when their bowlers were unable to restrain Brendon McCullum and Mahela Jayawardene and defend a 180 plus total."
There's a mouth watering clash in prospect between two of the IPL's big guns as last year's finalists Mumbai and Chennai lock horns again.
Mumbai
After a comfortable win over Pune midweek, Mumbai are likely to keep the same team, with James Franklin preferred over Davy Jacobs at the top of the order. If Harbhajan Singh is fit, he will return at the expense of Abu Nechim.
Chennai
Chennai have generally relied on spin bowling but the bounce on display at this venue on Wednesday may lead them to retain both Tim Southee and Doug Bollinger and leave S Randiv on the bench again.
Chennai have started slowly and on paper, this is not the best fixture to regain some form. But Mumbai are vulnerable, as they showed against Kochi, when their bowlers were unable to restrain Brendon McCullum and Mahela Jayawardene and defend a 180 plus total. Providing they can see off Lasith Malinga, Chennai should find the Mumbai bowling fairly toothless and have the batsmen to capitalise. They are worth a bet at [ ] to come away from Mumbai with a win.
Pune were rolled over here on Wednesday, but this is a high scoring venue, with three half centuries and a ton in the first game here last Friday. Back 'Over 68.5' in the Highest Individual Score market at [1.8] or better.
