Warne is running out of answers for the Rajasthan Royals.
"There was a time in this IPL when Rajasthan would be the first team you’d back to defend an average total, not now."
As Shane Warne's career comes to an end his Rajasthan team's performance are diminishing at an alarming rate...
Kochi
The often-erratic Sreesanth replaced the regularly-expensive Ramesh Powar last time out, the former should keep his place here. Owais Shah also replaced Michael Klinger in the defeat to Punjab with Mahela Jayawardene moving up the order to open. Having looked impressive before being run out by his captain the Englishman should also keep his place.
Rajasthan
Despite his poor form throughout the tournament Ross Taylor has kept his place in the Rajasthan side up until now. If the Roylas decide to shuffle their pack the Kiwi's place in the team has to be one of the most vulnerable.
Match Odds
Shane Watson and Rahul Dravid got Rajasthan off to a blistering start against Bangalore last time out. But an all too familiar collapse left them with a meagre total to defend.
There was a time in this IPL when Rajasthan would be the first team you'd back to defend an average total, not now. Warne's men look bereft of confidence in the field and lacking conviction with the ball in hand. Stripped of their most valuable attribute I'm more than happy to oppose Rajasthan at [2.2].
Highest 6 Over Total
With their backs against the wall Rajasthan's openers threw caution to the wind last time out, and it paid off with a blistering start. I don't see any reason why they would change that approach this time so the value has to be in backing Rajasthan to score the most runs in the opening six overs at odds of [2.1].
Best Bet: Back Rajasthan highest six over total @ [2.1]
