White is Deccan’s stand in captain
"But I think the value in this match is to back the visitors. They have nothing to play for, it’s true, but with the pressure off, some teams start to perform and that is certainly the case with Deccan."
Punjab have battled their way up the table, but they still have to beat Deccan in their final game to have any chance of making the last four.
Punjab
David Hussey hasn't really been pulling his weight, but it's hard to see Punjab make any changes for this game on a ground where they thrashed Bangalore last time out.
Deccan
Kumar Sangakkara is off to join his Sri Lankan teammates so Cameron White will come back into the side to take over as captain. Michael Lumb might also get a game.
Match Odds
Punjab are short favourites at [1.58] to win their fifth game in a row and after the way they demolished Bangalore last time out, it isn't hard to see why. But I think the value in this match is to back the visitors. They have nothing to play for, it's true, but with the pressure off, some teams start to perform and that is certainly the case with Deccan. They've won their last two, including a victory in Mumbai and they have one of the best bowling units in the tournament. At [2.62] the value is with Deccan to bow out with a victory.
Featured Market
Dharamsala is one of the most beautiful grounds in the world but it has miniscule boundaries. There were 19 sixes struck here last time and it could be worth looking at '14 and over' in the Total Sixes market at [3.0] or better.
Best Bet: Back Deccan to beat Punjab @ 2.48
