Vettori is leading a Bangalore fight back
"Delhiās tactic of preparing a green pitch last time paid off, but it was the batsmen who most benefited, the ball coming on nicely to the blades of Virender Sehwag and David Warner."
They both endured awful starts to the IPL, but there are signs that the Daredevils and the Royal Challengers are turning things around.
Delhi
The Daredevils reverted to an all seam attack against Kings XI Punjab and it paid off handsomely so they will be reluctant to change things. Roelof van der Merwe is their best spin bowling option if they do want to add a little variety.
Bangalore
The Royal Challengers have had to reshuffle to accommodate Chris Gayle, so there will be no place for Johan van der Wath, but they may consider playing an extra seamer at Delhi, given the way the surface is likely to play. Abhimanyu Mithun could come in for Jamaluddin Syed Mohammad
Match Odds
Delhi's tactic of preparing a green pitch last time paid off, but it was the batsmen who most benefited, the ball coming on nicely to the blades of Virender Sehwag and David Warner. But with a top heavy batting line up and a seam attack that is only ordinary, Delhi's approach is a risky one. Bangalore can match them in fast bowling and completely outgun the Daredevils with the bat. I expect the Delhi revival to be a short-lived one and Bangalore can blow away their hosts at reasonable odds of [1.84]
Total Sixes
Between them, Delhi and Punjab smashed an astonishing 23 sixes in the last game at the Feroz Shah Kotla and with a similar pitch expected and even more firepower on display, we can look forward to another bumper collection of maximums. Back '14 and over' in the Total Sixes market at [3.0] or better.

Andrew Hughes says: Back Bangalore to beat Delhi @ 1.84
