King's XI stunned Mumbai Indians last time out so Delhi will be wary of an upset on Sunday. Ed Hawkins says another shock is only likely if King's get to bat first at the Kotla

Team news
Delhi's decision to jettison AB De Villiers and Tillakaratne DIlshan got their season moving. But one of the pair could be in contention for a return with David Warner (0) and Paul Collingwood (2) both failing last time out against Kolkata.

Dirk Nannes has been suffering from a finger injury but could be fit. With Daniel Vettori keeping his place, Farzeez Maharoof may make way.

King's XI Punjab will probably keep faith with the same XI who stunned Mumbai Indians on Friday, although bettors would probably prefer Juan Theron to Brett Lee.

Venue/conditions
The Kotla is proving to be a reliable surface for batters and bettors alike. Here are the four first-innings scores: 184, 188, 185 and 218. Backing the side batting first for 180 or more looks wise.

Match odds
Delhi were denied a four-game streak by an inspired Kolkata last time out but they still deserve their [1.64] favourite status. King's XI's humbling of Mumbai has made little impression on the market with Kumar Sangakkara's side priced at [2.36].

So can we expect another upset? Probably not. The worst bowling side in the tournament dodged a bullet against Mumbai's stellar batting and they are unlikely to be so fortunate against Delhi, particularly on a better wicket.

If Delhi bat first then the contest could be as good as over. King's must hope they get to set Delhi a target and then use their spinners to put pressure on the chasers. Of the four matches played at this ground in IPL3, three have been won by the side batting first.

Top batsman
When these sides last met - in their first game of the tournament - Delhi won by five wickets thanks to Gautam Gambhir's 72. Gambhir is in form with 47 from 29 balls against Kolkata, as is Virender Sehwag, who smashed 64 from 40 balls.

Ravi Bopara, who has been dropped by King's XI, top scored with 56 in the earlier meeting. Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene are the men in touch for King's, although look out for Adrian Barath, who is set to be given a run, at the top of the order.

Featured market
Backing the highest individual score to breach 68 is where the smart money will be at a shade of odds-on. In the four games so far at the Kotla, batsmen have looked in command. The highest scores read: 75, 69, 107 and 93.

Trivia
To encourage his stand and deliver back foot game, a young Virender Sehwag used to play in the nets with a bag of cement tied to his back foot.

Ed Hawkins says: back highest individual score at 68.5 or more at [1.90]
