The in-form Royals take on a revived CSK on Wednesday and Ed Hawkins has the best bets
Chennai
Chennai have found form at the right time with three wins from three. And they will be relieved to see Suresh Raina finally get a score under his belt. His half-century against Deccan was crucial. Again Doug Bollinger starred, taking two wickets to go with the three on his previous outing.
Rajasthan
A 35-ball 47 from Ross Taylor against Pune steered the Royals to their third consecutive victory. Rajasthan's canny bowlers look the meanest around with four of them - Sid Trivedi, Shane Warne, Johan Botha and Shane Watson all going for 7.75 runs per over or fewer.
Match odds
It seems extraordinary that Chennai are as short as [1.63] for this contest with the Royals [2.46] but then again, it would be a surprise if, in such a helter-skelter tournament, they were able to nail four wins in a row. Still, they should be capable of getting a foothold - especially if they bowl first - so a trade of Warne's team seems worthy.
Innings runs
The Chidambaram stadium wicket has been one of the best to bat on in the competition and we should be not surprised to see 160 breached batting first. The average in four games so far is 161.
Best bet: back-to-lay Royals @ [2.46] v Chennai
