TQ goes through the alphabet as he recalls the week in sport, featuring Henin, Kauto Star, Ronaldinho and many others

A is for Aguilar. There was another first time winner on the European Tour last week as Chilean Felipe Aguilar claimed the Indonesian Open title. A final hole birdie was enough to snatch the title from Jeev Milkha Singh in a dramatic conclusion. Aguilar clearly has some ability and is certainly worth watching in upcoming events now the pressure is off.

B is for Bristol. A struggling Bristol side roared back to life on Saturday by beating league leaders 29-26 in the Guinness Premiership. Jason Strange helped himself to nineteen points in a shock victory for Richard Hill's side. Gloucester will now need to bounce back and reignite their charge for the Premiership title. Check out the Winner market for all the latest odds.

C is for Collingwood. England finally found some form in their ODI series in New Zealand. After two comprehensive defeats they came fighting back with a good win in Auckland. Collingwood was the star of the show with three wickets and then a fantastic 70 runs off just 50 balls. If you think England can level the series then take a look at the Match Odds market where they are trading at [1.76].

D is for David James.
England's number one was in spectacular form once again on Sunday as he broke Preston's hearts with a series of fine saves to deny the Championship outfit. The last minute winner sees Pompey through to the last eight where they will face a daunting trip to Man Utd.

E is for East beats West. The NBA All-Star game was its usual star studded affair at the New Orleans Arena on Sunday. In a great match-up it was the East that prevailed 134-128 over a gallant West side. LeBron James took MVP honours for the second time in three years and will be hoping to keep that kind of form up for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Check out the NBA Winner market to see who the main fancies for the title are.

F is for Fiorentina. Adrian Mutu fired home the winner for Fiorentina as they beat Catania 2-1 on Sunday. It was three valuable points for Fiorentina in their quest for a Champions League spot. Check out the league Top Three Finish market if you think they can haul any of the top three in.

G is for Gilchrist. Adam Gilchrist may be on the verge of retirement from International cricket but he is still one of the best in the business. He hit a superb 118 off 132 balls as Australia beat Sri Lanka in the Triangular Series. The in-form Aussie side are now trading at [1.3] in the series Winner market.

H is for Henin. Justine Henin was back in the Winners circle with a comfortable win in the Diamond Games. On home soil she was rarely at her best but did enough to secure her second title of the season. The main event on the WTA tour this week is the Qatar Total Open and its Maria Sharapova who heads the market.

I is for Inter Milan. Inter moved serenely to yet another home win on Saturday afternoon. It wasn't their best performance this season but it was enough to see off Livorno 2-0. Inter will now turn their attention to a massive Champions League game at Liverpool. It is hard to call the result at Anfield and the market reflects that with Liverpool just favourites at [2.84].

J is for Jenkins. Terry 'The Bull' Jenkins put some recent mediocre performances behind him with a magnificent 8-5 win over Phil Taylor in the Premier League. It was a landmark win for Jenkins and he will be looking to push on from that now. Things, however, don't get any easier for The Bull as this week he is up against Raymond van Barneveld. Check out all the latest prices for the Premier League of Darts currently on site.

K is for Kauto Star. Last year's Gold Cup winner Kauto Star was in awesome form at Ascot on Saturday. The Paul Nicholls trained charge was far too good for his rivals as he stormed to an eight length victory. All eyes are now switching to his clash with Denman at Cheltenham next month. The Antepost market is thriving and if you fancy Kauto Star to repeat last years' win then he is available at [2.4] in that market,

L is for Lefty. Phil Mickelson showed that he is in good form ahead of the year's big events with a win in the Northern Trust Open. It was an impressive performance from Lefty and he will be a massive danger to all in this week's Accenture World Match Play. Tiger heads the market for that event but if you think that Mickelson can get back to back wins then he is trading at around [16.5].

M is for Murray.
Only days after not being fit enough to represent Great Britain in the Davis Cup, Andy Murray was back to his best as he claimed his second tour title this season. Mario Ancic was no match for a solid looking Murray and the young Scot will be looking to build on that in this week's ABN AMRO event in Rotterdam. Murray is currently available at [6.2] in the tournament Winner market.

N is for Nishikori. Japanese teenager Kei Nishikori stunned James Blake in the final of the Delray Beach International on Sunday. The 18-year-old was in scintillating form as he notched up his first ATP title. He is certainly one to watch and is this week competing in the SAP Open. Take a look at his odds in both his matches and the outright if you think he can keep this form up.

O is for Ostersund. The Swedish town of Ostersund hosted a magnificent World Biathlon Championships over ten action-packed days. Two golds from Emil Hegle Svendsen were the highlight of the last few days as the Norwegian twice beat Biathlon legend Bjoerndalen into second place. There is no rest for these stars as they now head off to Korea for the next round of the World Cup competition. Check out all the markets available for that event.

P is for Poutiainen. Flying Finn Tanja Poutiainen put in a fabulous second run in Zagreb to claim the Snow Queen Trophy. It was her first slalom victory since 2005 and takes her up into third in the overall world cup standings. On this sort of form she will be hard to beat in coming events so check out all the markets available.

Q is for Quality. For the first time in his career Jonny Wilkinson has been under pressure to keep his place in the England side. He is a man who clearly responds to such challenges and was in great form at the weekend as his rather average Newcastle side beat high-flying Saracens 16-14. Not surprisingly eleven of those points came from Wilkinson's boot and he will be hoping for more of the same this week when England travel to France for the Six Nations clash. A variety of markets are available for this intriguing match with France favourites to prevail at current odds of [1.42].

R is for Ronaldinho. You can't keep a great player out of the headlines and Brazilian star Ronaldinho was back amongst them on Saturday night. He came off the bench to slot home a late penalty to give Barcelona a 2-1 win at Real Zaragoza. With Real Madrid losing, the gap at the top is now only five points. If you think Barca can haul them in then you can get on them at [3.15] in the league Winner market.

S is for Selby. The Jester from Leicester was up to his old tricks in the Welsh Open final on Sunday. 8-5 down to O'Sullivan all seemed lost but Selby fought back to take the title in a tense last frame decider. He is the world's in form player and will be difficult to beat at the World Championships, where he is trading at [8.6] in the Winner market.

T is for The Tykes. Liverpool have been living on the edge in every round of the FA Cup thus far and on Saturday their luck finally ran out. A battling Barnsley side netted a late late winner in front of a shocked Anfield and now host Chelsea in the quarter-finals. Check out the FA Cup Winner market where Man Utd are the marginal favourites at [2.46].

U is for United. After last week's abysmal performance, Man Utd were back to their imperious best as they strolled past a beleaguered Arsenal team. The 4-0 scoreline was fully deserved and they will take that confidence into this weeks Champions League tie. It is a big game away at Lyon and a rampant Utd are currently trading at [2.42] in the Match Odds market.

V is for VVV. The Dutch league is very close at the foot of the table with the bottom seven clubs being separated by only six points. VVV did themselves a massive help on Sunday with a shock 4-1 win at FC Utrecht. Those three points hauled them out of the relegation zone and they will be hoping not to get sucked back in. The league Rock Bottom market is available if you think you know who is going to finish bottom of this league.

W is for Wigan Warriors. It has been a cracking start to the Super League season and few teams will be more pleased than Wigan. They maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a hard fought 28-16 win over Castleford. It is encouraging for Wigan fans as they are still missing a few key players to injury. If you think this is the Warriors' year then check out the Regular Season Winners market where they are currently available at [9.6]

X is for X-Rated. In another incredible weekend in the Spanish Primera Division there was a huge ratio of cards to games. In just ten league games there were 64 bookings and 5 red cards. It will take some beating but be sure to check out the Sending Off? market for next weeks'top flight games from Spain.

Y is for Y?
I pose the same question to myself every year - why on earth do clubs feel the need to enter the Intertoto Cup? Aston Villa are the latest club to apply for a spot in what essentially means that the club will be playing full competitive football from mid-July. Blackburn and Spurs have both recently applied also and it has to beg the question - will Liverpool be next to fill in an application form? All these teams could still qualify via a Top Six place so check out our Top Six Finish market for all the latest odds.

Z is for Zzzzz. The blood and thunder of a cup tie was well and truly missing in the lifeless encounter between Sheff Utd and Middlesbrough on Sunday. A match totally lacking in quality was almost won at the death by Boro but I imagine many neutrals may well have switched off by then. Watch out for markets for the replay next week when we can only hope for some goals.
