Andy Murray may need a lie-in after his late night on centre court but there's no let-up for Ben Caudell as he tips a big upset in the womens' quarter-finals...

Victoria Azarenka (BLR) v Serena Williams (USA)

Victoria Azarenka is part of a new breed of youngsters vying for supremacy on the WTA tour and looking to record her first Grand Slam tournament win. Having reached the quarter-finals stage for the second time in her career, Azarenka is establishing her place amongst the top 10 world ranked players by the day.

Serena Williams is still to lose a set at this year's Wimbledon event. The tournament favourite is famous for peaking at the business end of the majors, however her form during her previous four matches suggests that she is in good shape to reach the final against older sister Venus in a repeat of last year's finale.

The head-to-head between these two reads 2-1 in favour of Serena although this could quite easily be the other way around had the Belarusian not withdrawn after leading by a set due to heat exhaustion at this year's Australian Open. The most recent match these two played against each other was back in march this year when Azarenka strolled through a straight sets win in the Miami Premier final 6-3 6-1. The 19-year-old is playing some of the best tennis I have seen all week, she is looking confident from the back, hitting the ball with both power and accuracy and is determined not to bow out of the tournament just yet.

This match will be a lot closer than people expect, Azarenka has better movement around the court than Serena, her service games will be rigorously tested against the biggest forehand in the game however if she maintains her composure and doesn't let her head go down early on in the match we could be in for a major upset.
