Ben Caudell has been mesmorised by the blonde bombshell this week and he''s sticking with the Dane as she bids to end the fairy-tale and win her first Grand Slam tonight at Flushing Meadows...
Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) v Kim Clijsters (BEL)
I am absolutely shocked by Caroline Wozzniacki's price - she is currently trading at [4.6] to defeat Kim Clijsters in her first WTA Grand Slam Final.
Yes, Clijsters defeated the reigning champion and odds on favourite Serena Williams in the semi-final and yes, she has an unbelievable record, having won the U.S Open back in 2005 and is currently 8-2 in all matches played on hard courts. But Wozniacki has proved herself as a reliable competitor who has brushed aside every opponent with calculated coolness, guile and completeness to reach the final.
Clijsters' comeback has been remarkable but the young Dane is riding the crest of a wave and her momentum is drawing her closer to that elusive title. I definitely believe there is value in backing Wozniaki at these odds and trading out at odds on when she wins a set.
