Defending champion crashes out. Djokovic is hot favourite for the final.
Novak Djokovic, nicknamed "The Serbinator", was matched at a high of 7 to beat Roger Federer in the semi-finals of the Australian Open. Federer was still favourite at 1.8 going into the second set but all that changed after he was broken early in the second set and Djokovic held serve to go 2-0 up. Federer was still just a 3.55 shot going into the third set but after wasting several chances to break and even a set point, he lost the third in a tie-breaker. Federer was matched at a low of 1.41 to win the tournament.
Djokovic was matched at a high of 100 to win in straight sets and is the 1.35 favourite to go on and win the Australian Open, where he will face 3.65 chance Jo Wilfried Tsonge. Djokovic has been matched at a high of 16 to be the Aussie Open champion.
