Ring the Boss likely to upset his backers at Sandown
15:10 Sandown - LAY - Ring The Boss (Forecast 3.0)
Today's race is the 15:10 at Sandown, it's a listed handicap hurdle over 2 mile. Ring The Boss is forecast favourite, trained by Phillip Hobbs and ridden by Tom O'Brien.
Ring The Boss has won his last 4 races in a row quite comfortably, however he is nothing more than a hideous rogue who lacks any ability and will hopefully be put in his rightful place today.
He won a conditional jockeys class 3 handicap last time off a mark off 118 and escapes a penalty. He is racing from 1lb out of the handicap today and Darren Dwyer was claiming 6 lbs on him last time so he is effectively 7 lbs higher today.
This is a big leap in grade from class 3 handicap to listed handicap and the better class of opponents should be enough to see this cretin beaten. He was off track for 7 1/2 months before the win last time - having been given just 5 days to recover from that comeback run, he's likely to bounce and run below form on this occasion.
All 4 career wins have been at left handed tracks and he was unplaced in both previous runs right handed. His wins came on sharp or galloping tracks and he was unplaced on his only run on a testing track.
This race has been a graveyard for favourites with none successful in the last decade. A 4yo has won 5 of the last 7 runnings of this race. European Dream is the only 4yo in the field and has the form to win this race, I will be backing him win and place as he must have a great chance today but my bet for you is the lay of the ghastly imbecile 'Ring The Boss'.

Think you are being a bit unfair there Brig, to say Ring The Boss is a hideous rougue who lacks any ability can't be true of a horse who has won his last 4 races. A no bet race for me however
good luck
