Morning drifter takes Flat season opener at the death
Smokey Oakey was the morning market negative on Betfair in the William Hill Lincoln, lengthening from 9-1 to over 16-1 at the height of the drift, but he proved positive when it mattered in coming with a stunning late burst to pick up long time leader Blythe Knight.
Blythe Knight was amazingly backed at a low of [1.05] in running on Betfair, before being reeled in.
There was some late money for the winner on the exchange, though he returned a Betfair SP of 12.93 compared with the industry of [11.0].
