The Jonjo O'Neill-trained Synchronised heads the weights for the 2012 Grand National...
Synchronsied, last seen when winning the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown, has been allotted top-weight for the Aintree showpiece and will shoulder 11-10 come April. Rated 166 by Timeform, the nine-year-old also has an entry in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Last season's National winner Ballabriggs, trained by Donald McCain, will carry 11-09 in his attempt to gain back-to-back wins in the marathon test. Ballabriggs is yet to be seen on a racecourse this term, but his season has been focussed around this one race.
Midnight Chase, winner of the Argento Chase, and Weird Al have both been allotted 11-08, whilst Burton Port and recent Irish Hennessy winner Quel Esprit will bear 1lb less (11-07).
Calgary Bay, successful on his last two starts, and the Paul Nicholls-trained Neptune Collonges are both set to carry 11-06, and Alfa Beat and Planet of Sound (both 11-05) round off the top ten in the weights.
