Ouninpohja continues to prove popular in the Betfair ante-post market for the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, a race in which he bids to emulate the victory of Desert Quest in the same colours last year.
Ouninpohja is the clear favourite for the competitive handicap which closes the four-day extravaganza at 9 ahead of Irish raider Spring The Que (14).
Desert Quest is also being targeted at a County Hurdle repeat (available at 19) rather than a tilt at the Champion Hurdle but his appearance at the head of the weights on 11st 12lb means that Ouninpohja will race off the minimum weight of 10 stone.
The former classy Flat racer with the Alan Swinbank yard has run three times so far for Paul Nicholls, winning on his Taunton debut and most recently being beaten in a photo by Kickahead at Ludlow on his first outing in a handicap.
