Sven almost certain to leave City at the end of the season

Top Dog says:
Top Dog suggested laying no change in the Premier League's managerial market more than a week ago and it's beginning to look a good tip. Sven Goran Eriksson is on his way out from Manchester City and the only debate left is whether he'll go before the season ends or after. Sven called a players' and staff meeting yesterday to tell them he feared he would get sacked, and word got out during the evening.
Eriksson was as short as [1.17] to be the next boss to lose his job at one stage, but had drifted back to [1.72] this morning. The Mail's Ian Ladyman, who broke the news last week that City's manager was on dodgy ground, suggests the axe could fall before the season is over while the others reckon it will happen after the last game. That's apart from the Daily Star that missed the story altogether!
Cruft's:
Daily Mail - If you're a United fan don't read this - Ian Ladyman lists the statistical reasons why Barcelona are more likely to qualify for the Champions League final than Manchester United. United have never reached a final via a second leg at Old Trafford, aren't good at following 0-0 away draws with victories, and nearly always get knocked out if they don't score away from home. Barca to qualify at [2.34] suddenly looks great value!
Pedigree Chum:
Daily Express - Giggs in passion play - Ryan Giggs puts the other side of the United argument. He says the idea that United need to calm down after losing their tempers at Chelsea is all wrong. 'The reason we have been so successful this season is down to the enthusiasm, energy, commitment and passion of the players.' A red card for either side at Old Trafford tonight is [4.2]. Giggs is as long as [12.0] to score but given his big night experience and the probable absence of Wayne Rooney, that might be worth a punt.
Daily Mail/Daily Mirror - United accuse Chelsea - Manchester United have shunned peace moves from Chelsea and will go to battle at the FA over the pitch brawl with groundstaff. They claim Patrice Evra was called a '****ing immigrant' by Chelsea's groundsman to kick things off. Chelsea say he said '****ing idiot'. Top Dog wishes they'd all grow up.
Daily Mail - I owe my striking success to Rafa - Fernando Torres gives a fascinating interview on life with Rafa Benitez and the Liverpool manager's attention to detail: 'If he tells you to stand five feet from the penalty spot it is not in your best interests to be six feet from it'. Liverpool are [3.9] to win at Stamford Bridge.
