"The Asian Handicap market provides plenty of interest, not least because Inverness CT have lost by more than one goal in just one of their last 13 home matches."
It was at the Caledonian Stadium that Celtic's title bid suffered a fatal blow last term, and Neil Lennon's team are likely to be pushed to the limit once again...
Inverness CT v Celtic, Saturday 12:30 BST, ESPN, Match odds: Inverness CT [8.0], Celtic [1.48], The Draw [4.9]
This promises to be a decisive week in Celtic's season as three games in the space of eight days hand them a chance to slice into Rangers' daunting 12-point advantage.
They won't be lacking in motivation for the first - and despite Inverness CT's struggles quite possibly trickiest - test of the trilogy as it was at the Caledonian Stadium that they effectively surrendered the title in May with a 3-2 defeat. Even a point would have been enough.
Inverness have found it difficult to match the high standard that they set in their first campaign back in the big time, in which they finished seventh, and are bottom of the pile with only three wins to their name after 14 fixtures.
They actually have more points as hosts than they did at this stage in 2010-11 though, and they will sense vulnerability about Celtic on the road even after they ended a run of three away trips without success at Motherwell two weeks ago.
The character that they showed to fight back from behind at Fir Park however, calming speculation over Neil Lennon's future, bodes well for this challenge, as does an appetite for revenge over a club they had beaten on three of their four prior visits.
Yet while a Bhoys victory has to be fancied at [1.48], the Asian Handicap market provides plenty of interest, not least because Terry Butcher's side have lost by more than one goal in just one of their last 13 home matches.
Odds of around [1.8] are likely to be available on Inverness CT +1.5, a bet that will pay out so long as they aren't swatted aside by two goals or more. Celtic have triumphed in only two of their last five SPL encounters, and by a one-goal margin on both occasions.
Best Bet: Inverness CT +1.5 (Asian Handicap) @ [1.8]
