City meet United in a titanic third round tie following today's FA Cup third round draw
A Manchester derby is the undoubted highlight of the FA Cup third round after holders City were swiftly followed by United in today's draw.
The Etihad Stadium will be the venue for the mega clash between these two fierce rivals.
City remain favourites to win the Cup at [6.6], with United currently trading as [7.4] alongside Chelsea, who host 2008 winners Portsmouth.
Arsenal, so desperate for a major trophy, are [9.8] to win the FA Cup this year after Leeds were pulled from the hat for a home game at The Emirates. The draw was kinder to north London rivals Tottenham ([9.0]), who host Cheltenham.
Non-league outfit Tamworth get a plum, money-spinning Premier League tie with a trip to David Moyes' Everton ([26.0]). Merseyside neighbours Liverpool ([7.6]) play a home tie against either Southend or Oldham.
Apart from City-United there is just one other all-Premier League tie - Newcastle hosting Blackburn.
Carling Cup semi-finalists Crystal palace go to Derby, while there are Midlands derbies as Wolves go to Birmingham, and Nottingham Forest welcome Leicester.
