Russian coach cannot wait to see how his side fair against Spain.
Russia start their Euro 2008 campaign against Spain today and coach Gus Hiddink is intrigued to see how his side fair against the tournament's second most fancied team.
Speaking before this afternoon's clash in Innsbruck, the Dutchman said: "I am very curious to see how we will perform. It is the team's first time on a huge stage."
But Hiddink, who took South Korea to the 2002 World Cup Semi-Finals, believes Russia are ready to meet a side which boasts some of the English Premiership and La Liga's top performers.
He said: "There are many influences on a game and the team must be well prepared by the coaches."
Spain are [1.75] to win today while Russia are [6.4]. A draw is [3.7].
