New Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore has transformed the fortunes at Prenton Park

"Tranmere beat Rochdale easily on Tuesday night, which followed on from a terrific 1-1 draw at Sheffield United to mark themselves down as one of the form teams of the month."

Tranmere continue to improve under Ronnie Moore and should be backed to win again says Alan Dudman, whilst a plethora of goals are expected when Wycombe host the MK Dons.

Tranmere v Exeter, KO: Saturday 15:00, Match Odds: Tranmere [1.82], Exeter [5.0], The Draw [3.6]

There ought to be a management manual on sale judging from the recent results at Prenton Park. The book: "From relegation to mid-table, a survivor's guide by Ronnie Moore."

And how Moore has weaved his magic. Since taking over from Les Parry at the start of the month, Rovers have recorded three wins and are unbeaten in five. Two clean sheets and their first away victory in five months makes them look a transformed outfit.

I am pleased Moore is back in management, he is very good at this level and his skills are wasted when not in employment. He has changed to an attacking 4-4-2 with the emphasis on getting more balls into the box thus creating more chances.

Tranmere beat Rochdale easily on Tuesday night, which followed on from a terrific 1-1 draw at Sheffield United to mark themselves down as one of the form teams of the month.

Exeter meanwhile look poor at the moment, and cravat wearing boss Paul Tisdale is under pressure to keep them in the division. The Grecians have lost five of their last six games and were awful on Tuesday night in losing 3-1 at home to Wycombe.

City have a slow backline who are prone to some sloppy moments, but the biggest guide to this team's chances is their chronic lack of goals away from home. They have managed just four on their travels since December, with three recent consecutive blanks. Tisdale opted for a 4-1-2-3 in midweek and made a number of changes, he made need to switch and tinker again to deal with the hosts.

Walsall v Stevenage, KO: Saturday 15:00, Match Odds: Walsall [3.2], Stevenage [2.42], The Draw [3.4]

Walsall are currently [1.8] in the Relegation market, but look a team still up for the fight and best equipped to avoid the drop. Their battling qualities were apparent in their two recent performances: 2-2 at Sheffield Wednesday and a 2-1 defeat at Yeovil on Saturday. On both occasions a late goal was conceded, in particular Gary Madine's 95th minute strike at Hillsborough in midweek.

The Saddlers are still on a good run for a team struggling at the foot of the table, with one defeat in eight games. Manager Dean Smith needs points though, rather than the plaudits, and he would rather take a scrappy 1-0 win. Walsall are usually set up 4-4-2 and look to stay in games for as long as possible.

My old friends Stevenage are in town, which means I always look to the promised land of the 0-0 correct score. Borough have conceded just 15 goals away from home all season, and their last three games have yielded one solitary strike in total. Although the Hertfordshire side are trying to use possession more in the middle third and look a bit more cultured under Gary Smith, they still resemble a fairly predictable side in their 'switch play' and 'strong areas.'

Walsall have recorded an astonishing 17 draws this season.

Wycombe v MK Dons, KO: Saturday 15:00, Match Odds: Wycombe [3.7], MK Dons [2.14], The Draw [3.5]

Wycombe have looked a different team since the loan arrival of forward Paul Hayes, who has hit six goals in six games whilst forming a potent partnership with Stuart Beavon. Together they've bagged 13 in the same number of matches, an amount few can match recently but most would dearly love.

Chairboys boss Gary Waddock seems to be really going for games, with recent scorelines reading 1-3, 1-4 and 4-2 wins. And throw in a couple of 5-0 and 4-1 losses, and there is no better place to look to than the 'Overs' markets. Remember Wycombe have the second worst defence in the division and have been very leaky all season.

MK Dons have hit 72 league goals this term but have been tighter away from home in the last couple of months. With the talent in Karl Robinson's team, they are always capable of hammering their opponents as few can pass and move the way the Dons do. Their 4-1 win over Orient on Tuesday was a footballing lesson, showing how well they use the flanks and spin teams out of position.

Back Over 2.5 Goals @ [1.8]
Back 3-3 Correct Score @ [55.0]
