The Houston Astros return home after having won all three games in Washington and knowing they need to win just once at home. Ben Steele previews the game.
"Strasburg, who could be playing his last game for Washington, has a career ERA of 1.34 in the postseason and has been 1.93 in 2019. He is in sensational form, and considering Verlander's World Series drought 7/5 seems a very generous price to back the Nationals."

Verlander's World Series woes will continue
Justin Verlander knows that a win tonight will secure Houston their second World Series title in three years, however he will also be aware that he has never won a game in the Fall Classic. The 36-year-old future Hall of Famer is 0-5 with a 5.73 ERA in his six World Series appearances and faces one of the best pitchers around tonight. Stephen Strasburg was the first draft pick in the history of the Nationals franchise and, other than Bryce Harper, has arguably been the face of the team throughout his career.
Strasburg, who could be playing his last game for Washington, has a career ERA of 1.34 in the postseason and has been 1.93 in 2019. He is in sensational form, Verlander has had trouble in the World Series before and every single game in the Series so far has been won by the visiting team. With that in mind, 7/5 seems a very generous price to back the Nationals.
Sixth game will see runs
Game 1 of this series ended 5-4, a tight fought encounter which could have gone either way. Since then every game has been pretty straight forward. Juan Soto, Anthony Rendon George Springer and Yordan Alvarez have all contributed consistently and Alex Bregman smashed a grand slam on Saturday night. Tonight sees two great pitchers go head to head, but despite that I think the run line is too low. Back Over 7.5 runs in the game, with Game 7 on the horizon.
