Both teams to get on the boards early
Rockies @ Cubs

The Rockies and Cubs close out their second series of the season tonight at Wrigley Field after five high scoring games already this season. Last month's series between the sides saw 44 runs scored across the three games and featured the exact same pitching matchup as tonight's game.
Tyler Anderson picked up his only win of the season when he recovered from a sloppy first inning to beat Cubs starter Yu Darvish. The Cubs man is yet to win a game since signing with Joe Maddon's men in the offseason and has lacked control at times, with his previous appearance against the Rockies a prime example of the struggles the 31-year-old has had.
Anderson is returning to the mound after some health issues and will, presumably, be managed carefully in his first start. Expect both batting lineups to score relatively quickly but the Rockies should have that little bit extra against the struggling Darvish.
deGrom the main man for the Mets
Braves @ Mets
Thursday, 00:10 BST
Jacob deGrom is the man the Mets will rely on to extend their lead in the National League East as they face their division rivals in New York.
With an ERA of just 2.06 and an ability to consistently strikeout opposing batters deGrom is undefeated this season including a masterful display in Atlanta earlier this season that saw the Floridian shutout the Braves across seven innings.
Run support for the Mets pitching staff is usually expected to come from Cuban slugger Yoenis Cespedes and the big man started the series strongly last night going three for four with a home run despite being slated to miss the game with a thumb injury. Asdrubal Cabrera and Todd Frazier will be there to back Cespedes up if his swing for the fences style fails tonight.
Sanchez to build on last night's heroics
Yankees @ Astros

When the Yankees rolled in to town to face the Houston Astros they will certainly have been targeting their game against Dallas Keuchel as a place to pick up a win. The Astros formidable pitching rotation boasts three of the best ERAs in the league and four of their five starters currently have winning records; unfortunately for Keuchel he is the odd man out.
His record is 1-4 and has picked up a nasty habit of giving up home runs, allowing at least one a game this season. Given the vaunted Yankees batting lineup leads the league in home runs this season that feels like a recipe for disaster. Look for Gary Sanchez to build on last night's 9th inning heroics and get Yankees pitcher Luis Severino his fifth win of the year.
