The two great Brits of yesterday are back in action at Wimbledon today, with Tim Henman third match on Centre Court and Katie O'Brien fourth match on Court 13.
Defending champion Roger Federer is also back in the swing against Juan Martin Del Potro on No.1 Court but there is no denying that Henman's five-set thriller against Carlos Moya has given the tournament a real buzz . . . and we are only entering day three.
So Henman naturally takes pride of place in today's Betfair Four to follow:
Tim Henman (GBR) v Feliciano Lopez
After beating one Spaniard, Tim Henman faces another this afternoon as he takes on Toledo's Feliciano Lopez. He may not be as well known as Moya but the 25-year-old has twice been in the fourth round and was a quarter-finalist two years ago. He has a 13-5 win/loss record at Wimbledon and the 6ft 2in left-hander, who is world-ranked No 78 to Henman's 74, will be a worthy opponent.
They stand 1-1 in head to heads with Henman winning in Dubai in two sets last year and Lopez squaring things up in three sets in Las Vegas this year. It is going to be close but, with the centre court crowd in Henman's corner, he is trading at 1.67 to reach the third round for the first time since 2004. The winner of the match between Ecuador's Nicolas Lapentti and France's
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga awaits Henman if he can do it.
Richard Gasquet (Fra, 12) v Nicolas Mahut (Fra)
One of the most entertaining matches of the day promises to be the all-French affair between 12th seed Richard Gasquet, 21 last week, and the surprise star of the Artois Championships, Nicolas Mahut.
It is 25-year-old Mahut's second Wimbledon and he is looking to match his third-round effort of last year after coming through last week's qualifying.
For Gasquet it is his fourth Wimbledon and, in between two first-round exits, he reached the fourth round in 2005.
The Court 18 battle between the two six footers - Mahut is two inches taller at 6ft 3in - is only their second after Gasquet won in straight sets a few weeks ago at the French Open. But that was on clay and there is no denying Mahut, ranked No 77 in the world to Gasquet's 14, has shown a liking for grass. He is trading at 2.28 to score an upset.
David Ferrer (Spain, 17) v Paul-Henri Mathieu (Fra)
Another stylish match awaits Betfair fans out on Court 14 with Spain's 17th seed David Ferrer taking on France's Paul-Henri Mathieu, the world No 39.
This is clay-court specialist Ferrer's fifth Wimbledon and after three mediocre years he reached the fourth round in 2006. Mathieu is bidding to reach the third round for the first time at his fifth Wimbledon. It is the first meeting between 5ft 9in Ferrer and 6ft 1in Mathieu.
Mathieu is trading at 1.86 to advance with Ferrer on offer at 2.14.
Michaella Krajicek (Ned, 31) v Katie O'Brien (GBR)
After Katie O'Brien's first-round win on Tuesday, the 21-year-old from Hull will feel 10 feet tall. She is playing her fourth Wimbledon and this is the first time she has gone beyond the first round. She is the last British woman left in the singles but the world No 154 is up against Michaella Krajicek, the sister of 1996 Wimbledon men's champion Richard Krajicek.
Like O'Brien, she is in the second round for the first time. Can the Hull player pull off another shock after her 6-3 7-5 win over German Sandra Kloesel yesterday? Let's hope Court 13 isn't unlucky for her. Betfair have her trading at 6 but Krajicek is expected to come through at 1.19.
