Andy Murray has been seeded eight for Wimbledon although he has yet to confirm his participation at the All England Club event.

The Scot picked up a wrist injury against Filippo Volandri in the Hamburg Masters last month and remains an injury doubt for the third Grand Slam of the year, which starts next Monday.

Murray, available to back at 55 on Betfair's "Men's Championship - Winner With (Roger) Federer" market, was scheduled to play at the Boodles Challenge exhibition event on Tuesday but his agent, Patricio Apey, said: "Andy was not ready to play a match today but the beauty of the tournament is that we can take it day by day.

"There are eight players in the field and then a series of exhibition matches and we will leave a slot open for Andy."
Defending champion Roger Federer, who is chasing his fifth consecutive title in SW19, is ranked number one and is the overwhelming 1.46 favourite to achieve five wins on the spin for the first time Bjorn Borg.

French Open champion and last year's beaten finalist, Rafael Nadal (8.8), is seeded second, ahead of Artois Championships winner Andy Roddick (18.5).
World number four Nikolay Davydenko (360) is seeded sixth with Novak Djokovic (38) and Fernando Gonzalez (280) moving above him in the list.
