Tim Henman has confessed that he is tired of losing and wishes he could wave a magic wand to secure a victory.

The 32-year-old has suffered an alarming dip in form in his injury-plagued season and has won just one match on tour all year.

The former British number one was hoping for an extended run at Queen's to kick-start his grass-court campaign, but suffered a morale-sapping first-round exit to Croatian wildcard Marin Cilic at the traditional pre-Wimbledon tournament.

And the Davis Cup star admitted that it is high time he picked up a win as he moves onto his favourite surface.

"I have been doing a lot of losing recently and I've got to try and break through," he said. "I'd love it if there was one specific magic ingredient I could change, but it doesn't exist.

"I'm in a rut right now and I've lost a lot of matches. I would love to play horrendously and win."

And the six-time Grand Slam semi-finalist feels there is no alternative but to get on the practice court and hope everything comes together this summer.

"It's the same in any sport - if you are struggling with confidence you have to keep working at it," he added.

"I can't hide from the fact it is very frustrating. I've played long enough to understand I am going through a difficult spell right now and the only way to come through it is working hard."

Henman will next be in action at the Nottingham Open, which begins on June 18, before heading to SW19 for yet another crack at the elusive Wimbledon title.

Roger Federer currently trades as the 1.49 favourite to win in south London, with clay-court nemesis Rafael Nadal on offer at 8.4, while Henman is not fancied to pull up and trees and is on offer at huge odds to claim his maiden 'Slam title.
