French Open semi-finalist, Jelena Jankovic of Serbia is set to play in the grass-court DFS Classic, which starts in Birmingham on Monday.

Jankovic caught they eye of many pundits with her displays at Roland Garros and some punters may well believe that she has a Grand Slam victory in her, in the remaining two events this season.

She is currently available at 4.2 in Betfair's 'To Win A Grand Slam - 2007' market although she was last matched at 15, and is likely to be prominent in the markets for the DFS Classic and Wimbledon when they open.

The Birmingham showpiece is likely to give several good pointers for Wimbledon as some top names will be on display.

World number two Maria Sharapova, who won the Wimbledon warm-up event in 2004 and 2005, will again be taking part after accepting a wildcard entry into the tournament - which takes place at the Edgbaston Priory Club.

Three of Britain's top players will also be showcasing their talents after being handed wildcard entries.

British number one Anne Keothavong, teenager Naomi Cavaday and Elena Baltacha, who was forced to miss the entire 2006 grass-court season following back surgery, will all be present.
