British number three Alex Bogdanovic has crashed out of the Nottingham Open at the first-round stage after losing to Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.
Bogdanovic was a set down when play resumed following Monday's rain delay and went on to waste eight chances to take the match to a deciding set before bowing out 6-4, 7-6 (15-13).
The second set went with serve to take it to a tie break where Bogdanovic missed several good chances to put the set to bed before a double fault on the 25th point handed the match to his opponent.
Garcia-Lopez is now trading at 46 to go on and win the tournament with Richard Gasquet the 4.1 favourite.
Britain's main hope is now Tim Henman who is available at 17.5 to pick up a victory ahead of Wimbledon.
