Does Grimshaw deserve to be such a big price after one bad week?
"Grimshaw failed to match his show-stopping performance of the previous week, which saw the 18-year-old briefly installed as the [5.0] favourite on the betting exchange to win the singing contest."
A poor performance has sent Aiden Grimshaw out to double figure odds in Betfair's X Factor winner market
Aiden Grimshaw has moved out to [11.0] on Betfair to win The X Factor following a patchy rendition of John Lennon's Jealous Guy on Saturday night.
Grimshaw failed to match his show-stopping performance of the previous week, which saw the 18-year-old briefly installed as the [5.0] favourite on the betting exchange to win the singing contest.
Meanwhile, Dublin's Mary Byrne's odds of winning the competition have shortened from [11.0] to [8.6]. A tearful Byrne, 50, received a lengthy standing ovation for her rendition of the Dusty Springfield classic You Don't Have to Say You Love Me.
Painter and decorator Matt Cardle remains the punters' favourite to land this series' grand prize. The 27-year-old can now be backed at [3.7] to win the contest outright.
Betfair's Alex Bake said: "Aiden and Mary are the acts everyone is talking about, but for very different reasons. Aiden seemed to buckle under the weight of the song, while Mary absolutely nailed it.
"Although Mary received a great response from the judges and the audience, the punters remain confident that Matt has what it takes to win."
