Can Chelsee top score?

"Audley is [2.74] for the chop and has the quickstep. If there is one dance not made for Harrison this is the one. Size 17 feet do not go, and Nancy might just be safe, for now."

The fast, bouncy Latin rhythms are sure to suit Chelsee Healey who can reward long odds backers in the highest scorer market. Meanwhile, Audley's size 17s might see him drop under 15 points on a third week of struggle for the former Olympic star

Weren't there some magical performances on the dancefloor last week? Jason (top score 33), Holly (30), Chelsee (29) and, surprisingly, Robbie (29) were all great. Down in Bognor my own dancing, however, was fairly moderate. And, with virtually everyone surrounding me in fancy dress, I found strutting my stuff next to Teen Wolf and 'Bully' from Bullseye slightly off-putting.

For that reference, I need to refer you to last week's column.

We say farewell to Edwina, who found herself in the danger zone with Audley last week. That was one fight the A-force managed to win, with Currie flummoxed as to why the public failed to side with a former Tory minister. That really does remain a puzzle.

Last Sunday's results show highlighted one of the key factors in SCD betting, and that's the power of the public.

Walking disaster Nancy escaped the bottom two, despite her 14 point salsa. She clearly has no sense of humour, which is why the voters want to keep her in. It's the masochistic streak I mentioned seven days ago, and it throws up an interesting poser for the Second Elimination, for which Dell'Olio trades as [2.74] joint favourite. Will the voters save Nancy again?

Jason meanwhile was exceptional again last Saturday, and bagged the first '9' of the series. His price though has moved out to [3.1] in the Winner market - mainly due to tabloid headlines reporting a serious amount of training prior to the series. This should ride over in a couple of weeks I'm sure.

On to week three, and the Broadway spectacular, a subject I have no truck with following an instantly forgettable date many years ago to see 'Chicago' at the cinema. If anyone sings 'All that Jazz' I will scream.

The Highest Scorer market looks fairly straightforward, with Jason available to back at [1.9]. He will dance the tango, to a routine involving Gloria Gaynor's 'I will survive.' This of course was in the musical 'Priscilla', a show that Donovan has appeared in, and if anyone can get the best out of this dance it's him.

Chelsee (a nightmare for the 'e' haters on Scrabble) has the Latin this week, and should do well with the cha cha cha. Her fun, fast and bouncy style might be even to give us some interest at around [7.0] for the top score.
She hit a 29 last week and is definitely an improver.

I was eager to get at Dan Lobb this week, a man clearly too cocky for his own good. Hus clumsy lifts and steps are just all too 'uncle at a wedding' for me, and his horrible 21 point salsa last Saturday was plain ugly. However, he's landed
on his wooden feet this week with the ballroom, and should be safe for now with the Viennese waltz. We can wait to get him with the Latin.

Alex Jones might do OK with her waltz, as clearly ballroom suits her better, whilst Holly is revving up nicely and I'm looking forward to seeing a decent jive, a score of 30 plus is expected to interest the [5.0] backers for best marks. There could
be a few low scores from elsewhere though, and I think someone will be hitting the 15 and under market this week - namely Audley and Nancy.

I am desperate to see the latter involved in the Blackpool show, as the diva has already stated she is not going on the coach and enquired about first class. She has the tango, but might be saved by those cruel viewers. Meanwhile Audley is [2.74] for the chop and has the quickstep. If there is one dance not made for Harrison this is the one. Size 17 feet do not go, and Nancy might just be safe, for now.
